Why am I not getting healed?

I received a very inspiring voice message from a good friend that really encouraged me. I’m sharing her story with permission. Sarah (not her real name), and I have known each other for many years and shared many a good chat about our spiritual journeys and supported each other through our daily challenges.
Over this time, she has had several physical issues. Her back/hips have been damaged from work and further activity is always painful. For years Sarah has struggled with sleeping and a normal night includes about 3 hours. She also has some other physical ailments. She has been active in working with specialists to address the numerous issues and things don’t seem to improve. I would guess that Sarah has become despondent, frustrated, and resigned to her situation, although she tries to be positive and put on a brave face. I think these challenges have ripple effects of impacting other spheres of her life.
Sarah loves God and had a tremendous experience in her youth which led her to commit her life to the Lord. She reads the bible, prays, and spends time in church. She would often seek prayer and prays for others.
I was very excited when I heard the message and believe this is an opportunity for a breakthrough for you and anyone else who has had similar struggles.
She shared that she received intercessory prayer and described the exchange. The lady asked Sarah about her situation and then shared that she saw an image of a black cloud hanging over her and this represented huge disappointment in her life, and this cloud could wipe her out if she doesn’t change. She also saw soul ties holding her in bondage, ties to herself and other people.
Then she saw Sarah in her work environment dancing for joy and jumping up in the air telling everyone they can get better too, and it will happen for them. She sees Sarah walking to a drum full of sheets. The sheets represent things in her life, and Sarah reached into the bottom of the drum and pulled out a black crown. This was not a good thing and represents Sarah’s life and how she hadn’t properly committed to God, by not letting him be Lord. It represented Sarah holding onto the decisions in her life, making them on her own. Whereas God invites her to hand over the control and exchange the black crown for a crown of glory.

She then shared some scriptures, and they had a discussion. The lady asked Sarah if she believed God can heal her, and she answered, “I’m not sure, I know He can, but I’m not sure if he will, 'cause I have prayed for healing in the past.
They discuss several issues in Sarah life and the lady said, “God can break down all these issues."
She left my friend with these instructions: Go home and for the next 3 weeks lay every single issue, every single day at the foot of the cross with Jesus and then turn away from it…
How exciting is this story? This an amazing reminder for us to hand our challenges over and turn away from them. Stop trying to hold on and control it, especially if you keep failing! God wants to give you a golden crown - are you willing to make the exchange?
